Inspiring Creative, Narrative and Argumentative Writing with Art (Spring 2024 Webinar)

 
On April 2, 2024, Humanities Texas held a webinar in partnership with the Smithsonian American Art Museum on inspiring student writing with art.

Schedule and Curriculum

This interactive session for humanities teachers modeled three distinct classroom strategies exploring different styles of writing in response to artwork. The webinar supported students' development in the areas of critical thinking, analysis, and writing.

Led by museum education professionals, the webinar, like all Humanities Texas teacher programs, emphasized the development of effective pedagogical strategies and engaging assignments and activities.
