On Thursday, January 11, the LBJ Presidential Library will host the first of its six-part virtual lecture series "The American Presidency: Pivotal Elections" in partnership with Humanities Texas and The University of Texas at Austin Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. This week's session is titled "Dewey Defeats Truman: The 1948 Election and the Battle for America's Soul" with New York Times bestselling author A. J. Baime.
