As part of the Community College Humanities Association 2023 National Conference, Humanities Texas will present the post-conference symposium Finding Your Career in Arts and Culture in partnership with the Philosophy, Religion and Humanities Forum at ACC. The symposium will take place from 3:00–5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14.

Host Jean Anne Lauer (Austin Community College; Fantastic Fest) and panelists Marco Buentello (Humanities Texas), Kate Betz (Story+Reason), and Elizabeth Hansen (Texas Archive of the Moving Image) will discuss the way that community colleges can provide foundations for students to gain entry into exciting and innovative careers in the public humanities.
