A President's Vision Curriculum
An innovative suite of U.S. history curriculum materials, A President's Vision examines the aspirations of notable U.S. presidents and the programs and initiatives that advanced each man’s vision.
The centerpiece of the program is a series of seven posters examining the vision that shaped the presidencies of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, the Roosevelts, Johnson, and Reagan. In November 2012, Humanities Texas sent a complete set of these posters to the librarian at every accredited secondary school in the state, and to every Texas public library.
Online resources include a rich set of curriculum materials and primary sources from the National Archives, the Library of Congress, the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, and other repositories, all of which help students see each presidency within the broader context of U.S. history.
