From 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. on September 21, Texas Navy Day will take place at the Texas Maritime Museum. Texas Navy Day, officially recognized by the Texas Legislature as the third Saturday of September, serves to commemorate the essential role of the Texan Navy in safeguarding Texas’ coastline and maritime interests. This year’s event promises an engaging experience for all ages with a variety of activities, including hands-on interactions, historic artifacts, tastings of traditional maritime recipes, and insightful lectures from a distinguished lineup of speakers.
