On April 1, 2025, Humanities Texas will hold "The Great Gatsby at 100," a webinar for Texas teachers on the history of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby as a classroom text. In commemoration of the centenary of its publication in April 1925, this interactive session will illuminate how the novel has been taught and interpreted from the 1950s to the present and introduce strategies and resources that engage students in an intergenerational discussion about Gatsby's central themes and motifs. Andrew Newman of Stony Brook University will lead the webinar.
