The American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) invites staff and volunteers from museums and history institutions across Texas and the nation to 250 Con.

Attendees at 250 Con—which will take place online on February 27 and 28, 2025—will learn about America250 national and state planning opportunities, identify actionable ways to get involved, and join fellow practitioners in generating enthusiasm for this once-in-a-generation event.

250 Con will kick off with a keynote conversation featuring leaders from the Library of Congress, the National Archives and Records Administration, and the Smithsonian Institution. The two-day event will also include “lightning round" presentations on major 250th initiatives, breakout sessions for networking and learning, and a virtual meet-and-greet with state 250th commissions.
