Using Digital Humanities in the Classroom (2022 Webinars)


From July 11–12, 2022, Humanities Texas held a two-part webinar for ELA and social studies teachers introducing a variety of digital humanities resources.

Curriculum

The institute introduced teachers to various digital humanities resources, tools, and strategies to support effective, engaging teaching in the secondary-level classroom.

Like all Humanities Texas teacher programs, the webinars were teacher-centered, with an emphasis on developing effective pedagogical strategies.

Faculty

The program faculty included Amy Earhart (Texas A&M University) and Roopika Risam (Dartmouth College).
