Responding to Student Writing (Spring 2024 Webinar)

 
On March 5, 2024, Humanities Texas held a webinar introducing a variety of resources and strategies for evaluating and responding to secondary-level student writing.

Schedule and Curriculum

The program for social studies and English language arts teachers provided a variety of strategies to help teachers assess and respond to student writing. The webinar supported students' development in the areas of critical thinking, analysis, research, and writing.

Like all Humanities Texas teacher programs, the webinar emphasized close interaction with scholars, the examination of texts, and the development of effective pedagogical strategies and engaging assignments and activities.
