Behold the People: R.C. Hickman's Photographs of Black Dallas, 1949–1961
"Behold the People: R. C. Hickman’s Photographs of Black Dallas, 1949-1961" is an exhibit by the Center for American History, The University of Texas at Austin, presented in partnership with Humanities Texas. R.C. Hickman's photographs include images of nationally popular entertainers and Dallas nightclubs, schools and universities, funerals, and notable Dallas citizens.

Russell Lee Photographs
"Russell Lee Photographs" is an exhibit by the Center for American History, The University of Texas at Austin, presented in partnership with Humanities Texas. The exhibit offers a rare glimpse into the remarkably accomplished images photographer Russell Lee produced in 1935 and 1936 when he first took up a camera and goes on to highlight the vast body of important work that Lee produced from 1947 through 1977.
