"Neches Journeys" exhibit in Jacksonville

"Neches Journeys: Land, River, and People," on display at the East Texas Medical Center in Jacksonville through early August. Photo by Kelly Young, Jacksonville Daily Progress.

Humanities Texas has a long tradition of providing humanities resources to the people of Texas. In 1978, the Texas Resource Center was established as a division of the Texas Council for the Humanities (now Humanities Texas) under the leadership of Director Frances Leonard. Although the Resource Center no longer operates as a separate entity, Humanities Texas maintains the Center's tradition of providing high quality, inexpensive humanities resources to cultural organizations throughout Texas and the nation. We invite you to consider how our resources might benefit your organization.
