Director's Welcome

Executive Director Michael L. Gillette.

Executive Director Michael L. Gillette

Humanities Texas has instituted many changes over the last several years. In addition to our new name, logo, and website, we have moved our state headquarters to the historic Byrne-Reed House. Our new building provides a central location from which to host programs and events for our statewide community.

What hasn't changed, of course, is the organization's commitment to creating and sponsoring innovative educational programs. As you peruse this site and learn more about our organization, please consider how you might want to get involved. We look forward to having you join our efforts.

Read Michael L. Gillette's monthly columns.
